Nestled in the foothills of the Tamar Valley, 18 kms from the CBD of Launceston, you'll find Tasmania Zoo, the largest wildlife park in Tasmania. Tasmania Zoo is situated in 900 acres of private native bushland and is home to the largest collection of native and exotic animals in Tasmania. We have over 80 species of birds, wombats, echidnas, kangaroos, quolls, reptiles, monkeys and more. And don't forget our famous Tasmanian Devils! Watch the Tassie Devils feed at 10:30 am, 1 pm and 3:30 pm followed by a devil pat of one of our younger devils. Little Blue Penguin feeding at 10am and 4pm daily. Open every day except Christmas Day.
