Our 8-10 TSA instructors are all very experienced surfers. Their passion for surfing is infectious and they can’t wait to share it with you. Owner, Grayme Galbraith (Gally) won the Australian title in 2007 for the third time. Most people will find themselves standing in the first lesson. You can then build on your skills with our step-by-step Safe Surfing Program, if you choose. This 5 certificate program is designed to take the beginner from the edge of the beach to competition surfing. It is self paced and rewards participants as they progress. You will both have a fun time and learn about the ocean awareness and safety. We cater for all ages (mainly 8 years to 80 years) and abilities and we are accredited to teach the disabled. Whatever your level, our highly qualified and experienced coaching team can improve your surfing skills. TSA is the only surf school in the Torquay area that is affiliated with Surfing Australia. All Surfing Australia Surf school lessons are presented by Level 1 Accredited Coaches through a National Coaching Accreditation Scheme which is recognised by the Australian Sports Commission. We offer private, semi private, and group (eg. school and corporate) lessons. We specialise in personalised surf coaching allowing you to experience the ultimate surf lesson.
