With a large number of exhibits, Maru animal park aims to give guests the opportunity to have close and personal encounters with its animals. Our animals include three species of kangaroo, two species of wallaby, wombats, dingoes, Tasmanian devils, emus, parrots, native Australian birds, a pony, donkey, alpaca, sheep, goat, crocodile, blue tongue lizard and turtles, just to name a few! Delightful hourly talks (between 10am and 3pm) by the park keepers introduce guests to the animals and provide opportunities to learn more about them. Every guest is offered a guided tour of the koala enclosure where they have the chance to enter the koala enclosure with a keeper to meet, learn about and photograph our koalas. Guests can also view koalas at any time from our raised boardwalks and platforms. Guests are also certain to enjoy the opportunity to hand-feed our kangaroos, wallabies, parrots and stock animals. Young joeys emerge during mid-winter and can be seen with their mothers in the park natural settings.
