Sitting on the top floor of the iconic beachfront building, overlooking the stunning surf and sands of Avoca Beach, Glasshouse, the 120 seat restaurant offers an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere with a breathtaking view and a menu with something for everyone. Diners can choose from the freshest array of seafood, mouth-watering grain-fed steaks and an indulgent range of desserts, all complimented by a unique and diverse wine list. Offering a modern and ambient atmosphere, The Glasshouse Bar & Restaurant presents a relaxed yet elegant new venue to enjoy it all - a casual coffee and cake in the afternoon or cocktails on the balcony watching the sun go down, to a decadent 3 course meal. The exciting menu is the creation of head chef Michael Bell, previously Executive Chef of Nick’s Seafood, Darling Harbour. Michael serves up a sumptuous seafood platter complete with whole lobster, Blue Swimmer crab, oysters, mussels, calamari and plenty more or a 1kg cut of meat known as the 'Tomahawk steak' and everything in between, even offering something for the kids. It is the ideal location for a romantic dinner for two or a wedding of 80. The restaurant caters to both and is happy to create set menus and function packages to suit every occasion. We are open 12pm - late, 7 days a week. |
