On the Western end of Tasmania's North coast, right on the door step of the Tarkine wilderness, where we're lucky to breath some of the world's cleanest air. The surrounding hills are famous for producing world class vegetables and acres upon acres of the lushest, greenest grass you will fine anywhere, which in turn becomes internationally renowned cheese or beef. The cool waters of Tasmania's North West coast produce a bounty seafood, the most sought after being the Southern Rock Lobster, Green Lip Abalone, Scallops and Oysters. Our Nut View Restaurant celebrates this fine local produce. Chef Michael Kraneis proudly presents dishes such as the reveared export quality Cape Grim scotch fillet steak and a local seafood platter, on which the only thing fried is the potato. |
