Produce fresh from the farm After enjoying another beautifully cooked breakfast at our luxury weekend accommodation, our hosts suggested that we head down to the Avoca Beach Growers Market for a wander around the stalls. The Growers Market operates from 8am until 12pm on the first Sunday of the month in Hunter Park, between the Avoca Beach Picture Theatre and Avoca Beach Surf Club, and is truly worth a visit. The stalls are quite varied, of a high quality and the crowd provides a spring fair atmosphere. There are so many wonderful products to try and buy including bread & pastries, fruit and vegetables, flowers and plants, meat and fish, dukkah and cheeses, preserves and sweets, wines and pet products, to name a few. Round off your morning with a walk along beautiful Avoca Beach for a perfect finish to your Central Coast getaway. |
