Ferry trip to Bundeena

Bundeena Beach in The Royal National Park

Bundeena Beach in The Royal National Park

If you are on holiday at Cronulla on the NSW Sydney Coast, you must set aside a day to travel across the bay to beautiful Bundeena. Ferries leave regularly from Tonkin Street Cronulla for the half hour trip to Bundeena, which is in the Royal National Park. The ferry trip takes you across Gunnamatta Bay and Port Hacking to the wharf in Brighton Street Bundeena, which is only a 200 metre walk to the beach. There are a number of Bed and Breakfast and holiday houses, cafes, RSL and Bowling Clubs. You can kayak, fish, swim, sunbake, bushwalk or visit galleries. The beach is perfect for families and picnics with many shade trees available. You can really forget where you are in this little piece of paradise.
