This spectacular section of Arnhem Land escarpment is an important area to the local Aboriginal people. Only 12 km from the Kakadu Highway on a sealed road, makes this large red sandstone rock feature accessible to all travellers, even those in wheelchairs. Walks, cliffs, billabongs, lookouts, shelters and amazing rock art make this a must see on your Kakadu adventure. During our afternoon walk there was quite a bit of wonderful shade. The main gallery features the characters Namondjok a Creation Ancestor and Namarrgon the Lightning man.
