Craft stall If you are fortunate enough to be in Darwin on a Thursday evening during the dry season, from April to October, you must not miss the famous Mindil Beach Sunset Market, held adjacent to the Sky City Casino. These famous Northern Territory markets offer a wide selection of Asian and other cuisines and also a variety of local handmade arts and crafts, condiments, clothing, massage, and music. After wandering around the stalls, making our purchases and sampling a number of cuisine types, we retired to the shore to watch the fabulous sunset over Mindil Beach and enjoy the relaxed tropical ambience. What a fabulous experience! |
