Coolangatta Art and Craft Market
Markets by the sea The Coolangatta Art and Craft Market is held along the beachfront of beautiful Coolangatta Beach on Marine Parade. Quality and quantity abound, with a huge number of stalls open on the second Sunday of the month between 8am and 2pm. The backdrop to these colourful stalls is the Pacific Ocean. Markets include glass blowing, jewellery, tie dye, dog products, toys, clothing, plants, fresh produce and skincare to mention but a few. Parking is available along the beachfront and the added advantage is that you can go for a swim at the beach after you have finished wandering. We headed toward Greenmount Beach, where we watched a surf school in action, and then followed the boardwalk around to Rainbow Bay. The boardwalk offers some fabulous vantage points for photos back towards the beach and the Gold Coast skyline, and at the end of the point is fascinating Snapper Rocks. |
