Located 15km east of Bundaberg, Bargara is a popular holiday village for families. Previously established.

Bundaberg information
Located on the Burnett River, 110km north of Maryborough, Bundaberg is a coastal sugar town, with gracious palm lined streets and beautiful “Queenslander” architecture. Hervey Bay information
Located 300km north of Brisbane, Hervey Bay, including Urangan, Torquay, Scarness, Pialba and Point Vernon, is the gateway to Fraser Island.Previously established as a cattle station, Hervey Bay is now a popular resort town.

Frazer Island information
Located just off the coast from Hervey Bay, Fraser Island is the world’s largest sand island.After a long history of environmental battles, Fraser Island is now a National Park. Access is by car ferry and permits are required, once on the island access is limited to 4WD as there are no sealed roads.

Maryborough information
Located 110km south of Bundaberg on the Mary River, Maryborough is one of Queensland’s oldest cities.Previously established as a port for the local wool growing area, Maryborough is today a service centre for the surrounding industries.

Tin Can Bay information
Located in a sheltered inlet 67km north of Noosa Heads, Tin Can Bay is well known for its dolphins. Indo Pacific Humpback dolphins come to the jetty between 7am and 10am for feeding.
