Located 542km east of Melbourne at the mouth of the Mallacoota Inlet, Mallacoota is a tranquil fishing and holiday town surrounded by National Park.
Previously established as a whaling station, Mallacoota today is a base for abalone divers and quiet holiday area.

Lakes Entrance information
Located 319km east of Melbourne at the entrance to the Gippsland Lakes, Lakes Entrance is home to one of Australia’s largest fishing fleets. Lakes Entrance includes the towns of Lake Tyers, Kalimna, Metung, Johnsonville, Nicholson, Bairnsdale, Paynesville, Raymond Island and Loch Sport.
Previously established as a port and cattle grazing area, Lakes Entrance today is a very popular tourist resort.
